COMPANY BACKGROUND

Our client is a large conglomerate with over 50 wholly owned subsidiaries and employed over 10,000 people in China. Their core businesses include property development, education, tourism, logistics and furniture.

Our client is currently one of the largest private education group in China operating kindergartens, premium primary and secondary schools.

The group currently has over 60 kindergartens setup and employed over 1500 staff in China, covering Shenzhen, Foshan, Yangjiang, Heyuan, Dongguan, Huizhou, Qingyuan, Hunan and etc.

Due to their aggressive expansion plan in China, they are currently looking for a high caliber Education Director to manage all aspects of the educational program within the group’s kindergarten network. He/ She will be fully responsible for researching and evaluating the curricula, teaching procedures and educational materials within an education system.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide a high standard developmentally based educational program to meet the needs of children attending the kindergartens.
  • Continually improve the quality of service and operating systems of all kindergartens within the group.
  • Responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating an appropriate educational program to meet the needs of local children attending the kindergartens.
  • Responsible for the development of the teaching materials from conceptual stage to publishment for the whole group’s kindergarten network.
  • Demonstrate positive and supportive behaviors, consistent with Council’s values, towards all staff, contractors and Councilors.
  • Embrace innovation, technology and sustainability in delivering the objectives and key responsibilities of the role.
  • Promoting the new and effective educational trends for the best possible result for the group.
  • Training and supporting the teaching staff on daily and an ongoing basis.
  • Meeting regularly with parents for building professional relationships with them.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Master Degree in Education or related discipline
  • Min. 10 years’ working experience with at least 3 years' management experience in a similar role, with proven ability in teaching pre-school environment.
  • Experience in working with parent groups.
