Based out of The Edge Learning Center’s headquarters in Hong Kong, the Educational Consultant reports to the Senior Manager of Admissions Consultant and supports both the sales and marketing functions of the firm as well as provides operational efficiency and support throughout the Admissions Consulting department.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet students, parents, and school representatives and advise admissions plans for individual clients
  • Answer and screen incoming calls, reply messages, answer general inquiries relate to Admissions Consulting, and schedule appointments for consulting sessions
  • Collate materials, collect feedback forms, record admission results/acceptance
  • Assistant Senior Manager of Admissions Consultant on planning and implement promotional programs, events
  • Coordinate with Marketing Department, actively execute marketing and promotional programs, participate in firm events of admissions consulting
  • Contribute to weekly sales metrics and monthly sales reporting
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Knowledge of US/UK admissions process will be a big plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese a plus
  • Strong presentation skills and demonstrated ability to sell potential candidates on opportunities
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
