Job Duties:

  • Conduct R&D works on novel materials & materials process development for metal foam materials, especially on the foaming materials and its chemistry
  • Conduct R&D works on physical & chemical properties of the above materials as well as its functional characterizations
  • Conduct R&D and optimization on the foaming parameters required for the above developed materials
  • Assist in implementation of R&D works on different aspects of metal foam materials
  • Prepare proposals and reports, coordinate and participate in client meetings and deliver presentations


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Materials, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related engineering disciplines from a local university
  • Experience/Skill in chemical & materials development, micro-fabrication on metals alloys and foaming materials added advantages
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Mature, self-motivated, confident and aggressive, and able to work under pressure
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua

Notes:
This is a position funded by the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) Internship Programme for the R&D project from September 2018 to March 2020.
