We are now looking for a talented Events Lead to be part of our dynamic team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager of Office Marketing, the successful candidate will assist to lead on all client events and sponsored activities at ArtisTree.

 

Managed by Swire Properties’ Taikoo Place, ArtisTree is Hong Kong’s first private multi-functional space with a focus on performing arts is fully equipped with professional lighting, audio and sound systems. The new space will continue to reinforce the Swire Properties’ brand and commitment to the arts, hosting quality cultural programmes as well as a series of tenant networking events and community-engaging activities throughout the year.

 

Principal duties and responsibilities:-

 

  • Manage and execute a diverse range of events to the highest standard through organisation skills, innovation and creativity
  • To proactively sell, coordinate and deliver commercial hire and events, and will assist to identify and develop new business leads whilst maintaining existing relationships
  • Provide prompt and accurate information to event organisers in order to ensure they are served efficiently
  • Manage various agencies and liaise with external parties including photographers, production houses, and event management companies to ensure prompt delivery of quality services
  • Assist clients with technical matters; determine the necessary technical supports, such as lighting, sound, staging, or any special needs, in advance of production dates
  • Aware of market trend of high-end banquet service and food menu standards

 

Other areas:-

  • Conduct site inspection; perform site handover and takeover
  • Ensure up-to-date information packs and guidelines are available for visiting companies/artists and prospects
  • Oversee the following aspects, when needed

- Applications for work permits
- Arrangements for accommodation, visas and travel, when required
- License applications
- Manage pre-and post show talks, and relevant events
- Issue contracts; monitor event budgets
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints
- Coordinate and communicate event details both verbally and in writing to the internal teams including management office and building management

 

Together with creativity, integrity and passion, our ideal staff should be:-

  • Degree in Business Studies, Hotel, Catering, Tourism, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years’ experiences in events management with at least 2 years in multi-nationals, large corporations or branding agencies; Banking or property experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills; able to interact effectively with clients
  • Ability to understand client needs and assume personal responsibility
  • Ability to handle simultaneous events with multiple deadlines
  • Creative, proactive, and strong in strategic thinking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English. Fluency in Mandarin
  • A passion for art is essential
