Executive Officer

Executive Officer in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 497129) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should have a Bachelors degree with at least 3 years post-qualification experience in a supervisory position in public organizations, preferably in tertiary institutions. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good organizational, communication, interpersonal and financial analytical skills; and proficiency in PC applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing. They should also be mature, proactive, and able to work independently. Previous experience in working in a clinical academic or clinical setting, particularly in a leadership role; and using online financial management systems would be advantageous.

The appointee will lead and work with a small team in the Division of Restorative Dental Sciences to provide professional support in a full range of activities to academic staff; and assist the Division Coordinator in the management of the Division in respect of academic curriculum, research, clinical, financial and human resource matters.
