Office of Dean of Business

The Career Services Section is looking for an energetic and self-driven candidate to join the team. Major duties include (a) supporting the operation of the HKBU Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma Society, an international honour society for business students, scholars and community leaders; (b) collaborating with faculty and industry to organise career programmes and events to equip students (mostly full-time Master’s students) with relevant careers and workplace competencies; (c) managing database, e-resources and social media; and (d) performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or above with several years of relevant work experience, preferably in career counselling or human resource recruitment/ management/ development. The appointee must demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, strong initiative and be able to work independently. Familiarity with social online mediums will be a definite advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of up to two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
