The appointee is expected to lead new initiatives in curriculum development and student learning in undergraduate programmes especially in the area of Field Experience.  He/she will be responsible for coordination of pilot studies, liaising with outside parties, data collection and analysis and writing reports, etc.  He/she will support other initiatives that enhance teaching and learning of undergraduate studies especially for Field Experience learning.  He/she will also oversee an international Field Experience programme including promotion, administration and implementation of the programme in both Hong Kong and overseas, liaising with local and overseas partners, and taking part in overseas duty trips when necessary. He/she will support the relevant data collection and analysis, organising briefing and sharing sessions, writing papers and reports. The appointment will be for a period of one year.

Applicants should have a recognized degree with at least 7 years of post-qualification working experience, preferably at the executive level in tertiary institutions and in project management, curriculum design and/or student development.  A higher degree in education, educational technology, teacher education or related field will be an advantage.  They should also have good communication, organization and presentation skills.  Applicants should be proficient in both English and Chinese; able to pay attention to details and work independently with minimal supervision; proactive and good at multi-tasking.  


Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave and outpatient medical benefits.
