Executive Officer (Ref. 17052402-E)


The appointee will be required to:

(a) assist in developing marketing strategies and plans;

(b) plan and coordinate Faculty events/activities such as symposia, competitions, visits, student orientation, info day, ceremonies, etc.;

(c) provide secretarial and administrative support to working groups;

(d) assist in editorial work, preparation and production of publicity materials;

(e) maintain Faculty website and social-media channels;

(f) liaise with internal departments and external organizations; and

(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Faculty and his delegates.


Applicants should:

(a) have a recognised degree;

(b) have at least five years’ post-qualification relevant work experience, preferably in the areas of Marketing, Communication or Public Relations;

(c) have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua;

(d) have good computer literacy;

(e) have good problem-solving, liaison, interpersonal and communication skills;

(f) be highly self-motivated, detail-oriented and have good sense of responsibility; and

(g) be able to work on multi-tasks/projects and be a good team player.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written language proficiency test.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
