Financial Crime Compliance

Compliance is a function that brings together all aspects of regulatory and financial crime risk management. Acting as risk stewards, and incorporating a range of specialist teams, we work together with the business and leverage advanced technology to help Hang Seng Bank navigate a complex regulatory landscape and embed a sustainable approach to compliance risk management that supports safe growth and serves customers fairly. Compliance aspires to continuously raise the bar and set leading standards across the industry to help Hang Seng Bank safeguard its customers and the communities within which it operates.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Executive Secretary, Compliance.

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial services to Senior Management in the Financial Crime Compliance team 
  • Prepare documents such as correspondence, presentation, translation, reports and etc. and proof-read materials for errors / ensure layout is in line with the Bank’s guideline
  • Manage the itinerary of meetings and events
  • Handle telephone calls / emails in an accurate and prompt manner
  • Maintain an up-to-date filing system
  • Support ad-hoc duties as and when required

 

Requirements

  • Diploma Holder or above
  • Minimum of 5 years of solid relevant experience in sizable organizations
  • Strong attentiveness to detail, with ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills
  • Good knowledge of application software
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua an advantage
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
