Sizable garment manufacturing group is looking for a  FACTORY GENERAL MANAGER  to manage one of their cotton knit T shirt factory in China - with details as follows :
  • Tertiary education / Diploma holder; or equivalent 
  • Studies in Textiles/Clothing related will be an advantage 
  • 10 – 15 years relevant working experience in cotton knit garment manufacturers, of which preferably 5 years in running China factories of over 700 workers 
  • Strong in T shirt production and operations management will be a plus 
  • Candidates with experience in well established/famous garment manufacturering groups will be a plus 
  • Knowledgeable in machineries 
  • Capable to handle infrastructure 
  • Familiar with social compliance 
  • Experience in international casual wear / sports wear brands an advantage 
  • Experience in US or European markets 
  • Energetic, strong leadership, negotiation and problem solving skill 
  • Good understanding of government requirements 
  • Good command of Mandarin 
  • Proficient in MS office and Chinese Word processing 
  • Reporting to the Managing Director 
  • Fully responsible for managing a cotton knit T shirt factory with 700 workers in China 
  • Responsible for the whole factory operation and formulate overall business plan and direction, and management strategies 
  • Identify, implement and monitor short and long term strategic & production plans 
  • Plan, implement and monitor work flows, production systems and processes in a sizeable factory operation 
  • Monitor production plan, productivity, quality and on time delivery 
  • Monitor the systems and procedures for efficient and effective cost and quality control 
  • Liaise with various departments to meet the company's goal and targets 
  • Establish and maintain good working relationship with China government departments 
  • Formulating and implementing policies and procedures for continuous improvement of factory operations and productivity 
  • Leading, coaching and training various department heads 
  • Station China factory 
  • 13 months salary plus performance bonus
