  • Garment manufacturer
  • Headquarters : Hong Kong
  • Factories : Dongguan factory (1500-2000 workers) ; Vietnam (1500 workers)
  • Main item : woven and knit sports wear, outerwear, active wear (mainly woven)
  • Main market : US, European and Canadian market
  • We are looking for PRODUCTION MANAGER (station Vietnam) – with details as follows :
 
 
THE JOB :
 
  • Tertiary education is preferable
  • Studies in Textile/Garment Manufacturing is highly preferred but not a must
  • Over 10 years equivalent solid working experience in garment manufacturing of knit and woven Sports Wear, Outerwear, Active Wear, mainly in woven (experience in manufacturing of functional wear is highly preferred)
  • With the last 5 years holding a managerial role in sizable factory
  • Good knowledge in garment production technique and operation flow.
  • Ability to make production smooth and provide training program data
  • Knowledge of compliance standard
  • Experienced in offshore manufacturing unit is highly preferred
  • Proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English, including Putonghua
  • Report to Factory Director of Vietnam factory
  • In-charge the garment production processes to ensure production efficiency and product quality
  • Ensure reliable production planning, material delivery and production preparation for production smooth.
  • Monitor product standards and meet quality standard
  • Ensure on-time delivery
  • Assist factory work study and work close with industrial engineering (IE) for efficiency improvement and saving in production cost.
  • Bring in new production technology concept for efficiency improvement
  • Collaborate with concerned parties, administration, merchandising and supply chain on production, quality and delivery issues.
  • Support the manufacture in ensuring compliance with industry certification of compliance e.g. ICTI
  • Identify training needs of works and develop training programs
  • Supervise and review worker performance, and motivate teamwork
  • Ensure achievement of production targets
  • Station Vietnam
  • Annual leave : 16 days
  • 13 months salary + performance bonus

  • Candidates with more solid factory management experience will be considered for the post of Factory Manager (2 posts)
