Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct feeding market analysis by carrying out detailed market research in each feeding sectors, identifies potential vendors with negotiation levers for best procurement results.

  • Prepare documentation such as Tender Invitation letter, RFP letter, RFQ format, vendor profile form. Conduct face-to-face tender workshops to seek the opportunity for reduction

  • Rate finalization with vendors to seek the opportunity for further reduction.

  • Set flow share allocation by rates level, service schedule & connectivity, feedback from local office/agency, and prepare priority tables for each sector with email confirmation for result announcements.

  • Establish priority guidelines and instructions to utilize the most cost-efficient vendors.

  • Ensure valid contracts of all the feeder and barge vendors within Asia Region.

  • Arrange endorsement for new rate sheets and CCAs

  • Implement fixed deal tender process formally to achieve dead-freight reduction

  • Conduct meeting to decide based on dead-freight rate, schedule, connectivity and customer special requirements

  • Inform managements for all the details on the concluded fixed deal, together with partner’s booking contact list and credit terms agreed

  • One-off rate negotiation with the feeder vendors

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in shipping industries with 5 years in managerial role.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders at various levels
  • English and Chinese, both written and oral.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Travel within Asia Pacific countries is required
