Key Accountabilities :

  • Timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis of performance
    • Timely preparation of periodic(month-end, year-end…) financial reports including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, analysis of variances to budget and prior periods, written comments on significant variances
    • Ensuring that books and records free of material misstatements are maintained
    • Analysis of both projected and realized margin by shops, product, customer…
    • Collaborate with Asian CFO to continuously monitor and manage the accuracy of store P&L
  • Proactive cost control
    • Developing proper control over all areas of cost including purchase prices and cost center expenses
    • Reviewing opportunity and return of capital expenditures projects
    • Safeguarding of company’s assets and resources
  • Business support and partner
    • Acting as a business partner and point of reference for business performance and business developments with the CFO and the President of Sales Operations
    • Performing process analysis and suggesting improvements to management
    • Monitoring weekly and day to day performances to report risks versus forecasts proactively
  • Financial planning through business plan, budget, periodic (re)forecasts
    • Coordination of budgeting and financial planning processes
    • Preparation and analysis of forecasts and projected financials (P/L, B/S)
  • Administration
    • Maintaining contract database, assist with contact negotiation and management
    • Support regular and ad hoc business analytical requirements such as new store approvals, Wholesale and retail business model analysis.

 

Requirements:

  • University Degree (based on relevant work experience)
  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in Financial Analyst
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Good analytical skills with strong business acumen
  • Prior experience in FMCG a plus
  • Well organized to manage tasks
  • Initiative anddetail oriented
