VPower Group, listed at the main board, are one of the world's leading large gen-set system integration providers and Southeast Asia's largest private gas-fired engine-based distributed power generation station owner and operator.  Under our system-integration business, we design, integrate and sell gas-fired and diesel fired engine-based electricity generation units, or gen-sets, and power generating systems, utilizing our proprietary system designs and integration capabilities, build, lease and , in collaboration with off-takers, operate distributed power generation stations.

Under our new Liquefied natural gas (LNG) business, regasification marine terminal receives, store, and vaporize LNG into natural gas to provide the fuel for power generation.  Our LNG regasification marine terminal includes offshore LNG storage, LNG regasification, and the marine berth for mooring floating storage unit.

To support our new LNG business in Southeast Asia, we are looking for high calibre candidates with good quantitative ability for the position of Fleet Manager in our HK Office.

  

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations of floating storage to meet the company requirements and standard which include safety, security, stock level and delivery volume etc.
  • Register and licensing vessel to comply with regulatory requirement.
  • Carries out regular visits to confirm condition to meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of servicing and inspection.
  • Follow up and monitor repairs and services.
  • Manage and build relations with internal stakeholders and outsourced ship management company to ensure smooth operations.

  

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Logistics or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience.  With experience or knowledge on FSU management will be an advantage  
  • Good planning, organization and time management skills
  • Good team player, proactive, attentive to details and able to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills, good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office Applications
  • Frequent traveling is required
