Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operation of the department including stock management, SKU management, display management and people management
  • Implement the company strategic plan, directions, guideline in the areas of business development
  • Develop new concept and new style on store display in assigned markets
  • Plan and implement the merchandising plan and in-store promotion with related team
  • Fulfill the business and operations target including the cost control, sale, profit margin and service level
  • Implement the business model of department in assigned markets
  • Develop, implement and maintain Merchandising System, Vendor Management System and Purchase and Management System

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with at least 8 years relevant experience in food retails merchandising or FMCG industry
  • Have global vision with travelling/ overseas experience is a plus; strong market sense and awareness, excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Good analytical skills and able to use any analytical tools other than MS Excel is a plus
  • Fluent in spoken & written English and Mandarin
  • With ability to multi-task, know how to prioritize
  • Strong management skills, good analytical and problem solving skill as well as excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of food culture, culinary history, food product and trend
  • Hands-on experience in merchandising and purchasing area
  • Less experience will be considered as Assistant Buyer
