About Our Client

Our client is a leading FMCG retailer (F&B) with a strong presence in Asia. With a high product portfolio and superb customer service, the company is expanding the business and the brands under the group. The team is renowned for its diverse and energetic team culture. We are now hiring a Buyer, Food Categories to join the team.

Job Description

  • Manage the supplier account by building up strong relationships and effective follow ups
  • Monitor and control the inventory level and perform effective replenishment
  • Negotiate and communicate with local suppliers
  • Support administrative work including sales reports, vendor documents, etc
  • Catch up with sales and operations team to ensure the purchasing plan is up-to-date

The Successful Applicant

  • High Diploma or Degree in Merchandising, Procurement or any related discipline
  • At least 2 years of solid purchasing experience in wine industry
  • Proficient written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft)
  • A good team player
