Our client is looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of experience in investment product development and due diligence role with SFC type 1 and 4.

Client Details

My client is an international finance company that provides full-range financial services and investment advisory, they focus on asset management, securities brokerage, FX, corporate and investment banking that serves retail and corporate clients. They have a network of more than 1,150 branches around the world.

Description

  • Conduct analysis on market trends to understand investor requirements and how they impact the company's product offering
  • Maintain the framework and procedure for product due diligence, onboarding and dissemination of related information, and update the investment products inventory book for product development and launch
  • Participate in meetings with both external and internal stakeholders for sourcing products and develop key messages to differentiate the company's products
  • Coordinate teams to establish agreement on marketing approach, sales strategy and investor requirements
  • Identify potential new clients and develop existing clients to further increase the targeted product penetration within the AUM of the company
  • Create and update marketing materials, portfolio performance updates and portfolio proposals inactive marketing and product positioning activity for client meetings, conferences, etc
  • Conduct training for relationship managers and bankers for newly added products and/or re-visiting interesting product ideas within the master product inventory book
  • Monitor key product updates in relation to the internal product risk rating
  • Coordinate closely with execution as well as Operations Teams to ensure smooth transaction flow
  • Support relationship managers and bankers as well as local and global operations teams to provide best- class client onboarding experience while adhering to all KYC-related requirements
  • Deliver regular/ad-hoc reports and analysis for management business planning
  • Perform other tasks that may be required by the management

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business/Finance/Economics or related discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in investment product development and/or due diligence role(conventional/alternative fund and fixed income products in particular)
  • At least 2 years of experience in investor suitability assessment, pre-trade client trade order processing and/or post-trade client servicing with the flexibility of handling large trade volume backed by minimal support in a time-sensitive environment
  • Holder of SFC Type 1 and 4 regulated activities
  • Holder of SFC Type 9 is a plus
  • Experience in handling high-net-worth individuals is a plus
  • Experience in client investment advisory including alternative investment product advisory is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese, proficiency in oral and written communication
  • Detail-oriented and good cross-border customer service skills
  • Experience in VBA and Bloomberg is a plus
  • Pursuing CFA, CAIA, CIIA or other investment-related professional qualifications is a plus
  • Be able to work collaboratively and constructively in a team environment
