European garment buying office for own global retail stores of own fashion brands – is looking for a TECHNICIAN (outerwear & underwear) – with details as follows :
  • Technical Institute of Garment Manufacturing or equivalent
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in outerwear and underwear items
  • Good technical knowledge in paper pattern, sewing techniques and size grading specification
  • A good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound good judgment and problem solving skills
  • Detail-minded and able to work under pressure
  • Knowledge in Lectra marker system is an advantage
  • Good command of English and Mandarin
  • Well-versed with MS Word and Excel
  • Responsible for conducting sample checking/approval from proto, salesman sample, sizeset samples and pre-production samples for all items including adults and kids for both outerwear and underwear.
  • Check paper pattern, workmanship and construction for samples
  • Provide clear instructions to vendor on how to make improvement and adjustment on samples.
  • Communicate with vendors and merchandising team to solve all fitting and construction issues in all stages from proto to pp sampling
  • Communicate with HQ's for clarifications on any technical information
  • Join fitting sections to provide technical advice
  • Travelling to China maybe required
  • 5 days work
  • 13 months salary + performance bonus
