Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you are responsible for:

  • Providing strategic leadership to drive value-added innovative technology, developing effective digitalisation programmes and executing ERP, commercial and business applications/solutions;
  • Formulating long term IT strategies and plans, standards and procedures for the delivery of professional services;
  • Providing professional and insightful advice to senior executives on all aspects of IT related strategy and services;
  • Ensuring alignment of IT deployment with the overall WKCDA’s business direction; and
  • Preparing and managing overall IT budget, resources, and procurement of IT services and equipment.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A recognised university degree in computer science, or engineering related fields;
  • At least 15 years of experience in a senior-level position of which 8-10 years in innovation and technology role;
  • Solid experience in managing large scale IT projects from strategy setting to implementation;
  • Possess a well-balanced mindset of both visionary and pragmatic while being insightful to prompt a broad technology agenda to help business growth;
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest state-of-art technology available in the market and have an insightful view on its potential values that may be of benefit to the Authority; and
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
