The incumbent will be responsible to lead the team for group medical in-patient claims assessment and underwrite the individual medical case while adhering to internal rules and corporate audit requirements.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high accuracy rate and consistent result of claims and underwriting outputs and supervise claims and underwriting teams
  • Interact with agency sales force regularly and contact agent training classes so that to enlarge the business portfolio
  • Provide training to claims and underwriting staff so that to maintain work standard
  • Ensure the service standard and performance of service providers on satisfactory level and encourage improvement
  • Maximize our products’ competitiveness by collecting market intelligence and assist the superior in handling complaints from customers

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Nursing
  • FLMI Qualification
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in claims and underwriting duties in medical insurance industry with 4 years in supervisory level
  • Committed, proactive, assertive and positive with a strong understanding of risk and business
  • Able to articulate IT risk in relation to the business
  • Experienced in delivering presentations to senior management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
