JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • To supervise and be responsible for the overall daily operation in the Kitchen

  • Achieve the financial target of the department

  • Inventory control - place orders to suppliers

  • Ensure all recipes are followed to the company’s standard and prepare the food according to the specifications.

  • Using the training materials to train employees to meet standards to maintain a high quality work force

  • Communicate with employees to keep them be informed the updated recipes

  • Coordinate operations with the other departments

  • Inspect the kitchen equipment are in function and call suppliers’ for repair work in any situation

  • Practicing safety and sanitation standards

  • Dealing with trouble, staff management, conflict management and managerial courage

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong leadership and excellent organization skills

  • Proficient knowledge of running a chain restaurant

  • Computer knowledge - to prepare different kinds of reports to send back to the company

  • Minimum 10 years relevant experiences in managing a medium size kitchen

  • Good command in speaking and written in English and Chinese is a must

  • Must obtain a Hong Kong I.D. and eligibility to work in Hong Kong
