JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To supervise and be responsible for the overall daily operation in the Kitchen;
  • Achieve the financial target of the department;
  • Inventory control - place orders to suppliers;
  • Ensure all recipes are followed to the company’s standard and prepare the food according to the specifications;
  • Using the training materials to train employees to meet standards to maintain a high quality work force;
  • Communicate with employees to keep them be informed the updated recipes;
  • Coordinate operations with the other departments;
  • Inspect the kitchen equipment are in function and call suppliers’ for repair work in any situation;
  • Practicing safety and sanitation standards;
  • Dealing with trouble, staff management, conflict management and managerial courage.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong leadership and excellent organization skills;
  • Proficient knowledge of running a chain restaurant;
  • Computer knowledge - to prepare different kinds of reports to send back to the company;
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experiences in managing a medium size kitchen;
  • Good command in speaking and written in English and Chinese is a must;
  • Must obtain a Hong Kong I.D. and eligibility to work in Hong Kong.
