Head of Controlling – Richemont Services  

 

The Head of Controlling -- Richemont Services, oversees the regional financial planning & controlling of Richemont Shared Services (RSS) functions in Asia Pacific.  He/she is part of senior management of the APAC Controlling function in driving and managing the planning cycles of Regional RSS while having a direct responsibility over the HK & Macau entity RSS cost planning & controlling.

This position reports to the Regional FP&A Director of Asia Pacific, while providing diligent support directly to Regional Exco team, in all areas of RSS cost controlling activities.  He/she coordinates with market COOs & FDs and Regional Brand Controllers to ensure alignment and consistency in all planning cycles, and act as the key contact for Group Controlling teams with regard to APAC RSS costs.

This role will also be part of the regional finance management to ensure compliance of controls & procedures is respected and all finance projects & initiatives are duly implemented.

 

Primary responsibilities

  1.      Overall management of APAC Richemont Services cost planning and controlling, and coordination of regional business analysis in each planning cycles.
  2.      Own and drive the annual planning process (BU/LE), ensuring alignment in terms of business assumptions, timing and team resource allocation, to deliver the final APAC RSS Budget and quarterly LE for Group approval.
  3.      Direct responsibility over HK & Macau entity RSS cost controlling, supporting HK Financial Controller in delivering the RSS BU/LE.
  4.      Develop framework for overall RSS controlling and analysis, partnering regional function heads for cost monitoring and strategic planning   
  5.      Promote financial discipline within the region, ensures quality and integrity of the financial forecasts APAC RSS functions.
  6.      Effective liaison with Group & Asia Pacific region finance teams in all areas of RSS cost controlling and planning activities.    
  7.      Lead and manage a team of 5 controllers/analysts, and develop talent pipe as a senior member of the APAC FP&A management.

Experience

  •         At least 8+ years of Controlling/ FP&A experience
  •         Led small team in sizeable companies or in senior single contributor roles
  •         Management experience in matrix organization an advantage

 

Skills

  •         Strong technical skills in managing high volume data complexity
  •         Highly process-driven and systematic in approach
  •         Excellent communication and presentation skills

 

Competence

  •         Strong mental agility, sharp in sorting out priorities from complexities
  •         Able to deal with ambiguities, flexible and delivers under tough and changing conditions
  •         Effective stakeholder management and challenging partnership

 

Key challenges

  •         Handling matrix environment with a sizable population of stakeholders
  •         Resolving conflicting priorities very often under an unstructured or changing environment
