A key member of the AXA Distribution Hub team in Asia, this role will work closely with the Chief of Distribution Hub, the Head of Distribution Excellence, and the local entity teams to own the articulation and story building of AXA's Distribution strategy in Asia

Job Role:

  • Own the articulation and story building on the region wide distribution strategy, taking into account objectives, KPIs, market trends, entity actions plans, current challenges, local context, etc.
  • Monitor performance and targets by initiating quarterly reviews, action plans, and compensation reviews
  • Managing ad hoc check ins with entities to monitor ongoing performance to enable Regional Distribution Team to anticipate challenges and local needs
  • Establish the management of the project methodology incorporating and encouraging the use of structures, documentation, and reporting
  • Partner with Business Support and intelligence team to track and report on distribution performance, providing real time view of entity performance targets
  • Build understanding of each market's detailed distribution strategy, action plan, local challenges, and proposed action plans
  • Produce presentations and reports, reflecting entity progress on key distribution initiatives
  • Work with local entity teams to understand key challenges
  • Operate as a key member of the distribution team, developing relationships with entity CFOs, Heads of Risk, Heads of Distribution etc

Job Requirement:

  • 10+ years of Distribution experience within Insurance industry
  • Solid understanding of key drivers of Agency and Bancassurance with the ability to understand, formulate, recommend, and then support the execution of in country transformation plans
  • Ability to partner with senior leadership and contribute to region wide distribution strategy across Life and General Insurance business entities in Asia
  • High level of agility and adaptability, with he ability to think strategically but also pragmatically to understand key entity challenges and possible remediations
  • Highly developed professional spoken and written communication skills, particularly the ability to express complex ideas in plain/clear language
  • Strategic and creative thinking skills
  • Proven analytical ability combined with a detailed focus in order to be able to implement thorough business initiatives
