Role and Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement IT strategy to facilitate the Institute's long range plans.
  • Lead and manage strategic initiatives (e.g. strategic digital plan and process review) to ensure the Institute's objectives and project KPIs are met.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with stakeholders and vendors to accomplish IT objectives and meet agreed service level.
  • Oversee a sizeable IT team, plan and manage human resources to fulfill strategic and operational needs.    
  • Plan, define priorities and manage the capital and operating budgets for IT department.
  • Ensure IT policies and practices are in compliance with the Institute's policies and standards
  • Keep abreast on new IT trends / developments for supporting new strategic and operational initiatives.

Qualifications and Required Attributes

  • Degree holder in Information Technology/ Computer Science or related discipline
  • Minimum 15 years' relevant experience in multinational or sizeable organizations
  • Strong analytical skills and project management skills
  • Solid experience in managing all aspects of IT operation in a fully integrated environment, preferably with customer relationship management (CRM) system and digital transformation.
  • Strong leadership skills, result-oriented, resourceful, proactive, able to multi-task with high adaptability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
