Reporting to Marketing General Manager - Marketing, this person will be responsible for managing the insight & planning function across Hong Kong and China. He/ She will provide insight-driven recommendations on business strategy & marketing actions.

An international fmcg group is looking for a seasoned Head of insight and planning to look after Hong Kong and China business.

Description
  • Build research & insight capability for the company
  • Collect, analyze, interpret data to generate insights, and to bring it to life with actionable recommendations that feeds into the planning cycle
  • Translate business issues into clearly defined market research objectives, and to provide insights and solution for the issues
  • Leverage on market data & insights to support management in business decision regarding new market opportunities and to facilitate marketing team to deliver marketing campaign
  • Be responsible for New Product Development and act as Project Manager in working with different parties including R&D, Brand Marketing, Procurement, etc. from planning to execution stages
  • Assists GM for management report, annual business plan, and long-term business plan across HK and China divisions


Profile
  • University or Above, BBA or Statistics preferred
  • Solid experience in market research & analytics
  • Both in-house in MNC and international research agency experience preferred
  • Hands-on market insight experience is a plus
  • FMCG experience is a must, Preferably in Beverage
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills, together with fluent spoken and written English and Chinese capabilities
  • Frequent travel to Guangzhou is required
