Our client is a stable Financial Institution with a strong presence across the Globe. The team is well established with little turnover and currently looking for a Head of Investment Applications to join them.

Responsibilities
  • To help define budgets, oversee costs (BAU and project) and to work within agreed budgets
  • Collaborate with the business and technology leads to ensure strategic projects are aligned with the business needs of the region
  • Oversee projects and change initiatives from an enterprise level and to ensure local requirements are well executed
  • Follow up on various issues raised and to ensure smooth operations
  • To ensure the team follows all policies, governance and controls. To act as an example in this regard
  • To manage the administration of the team and set objectives, conduct approvals and annual reviews


Requirements
  • Proven 8+ years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Solid understanding of fixed income, equities and structured trading
  • A good understanding of market connectivity, products, booking processes and FO positions/ risk management
  • Ability to communicate well and build strong relationships with sales and trading, business users and technology partners
  • The ability to determine priorities and communicate them clearly to the team and business
