Our client is a tier one bank group serves more than millions of customers worldwide with a complete range of banking services to enable them to manage their finances and protect and build their financial futures.

 

  • A leader within the SME Management team, the incumbent is responsible for all aspects of SME Custom Credit Products and Loan Book operations.
  • Responsible for overall planning, directing, and operational performance of the multi-site Business Credit Solutions Custom Credit loan underwriting and approval, portfolio management functions, portfolio quality, personnel oversight, MIS, training and budgeting.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manages and executes portfolio management strategies that are aligned with the risk appetite limits for the SME loan book portfolio
  • Manage the division of segment to leads diverse, multi-site underwriting and portfolio management teams in origination and structuring of “complex” credit proposals that meet the needs of Small & Meduim Enterprise (SME) customers/prospects while conforming to the bank’s risk appetite and regulatory requirements
  • Works closely with Credit and Counterparty Risk “C&CR) team, Head of SME, Head of Business Banking Centers (“BBCs”) and Head of Pac Rim banking to ensure appropriate execution of Four-Eyes policies
  • Ensures a high standard of credit quality through oversight, development of vertical expertise and oversight of credit approvals
  • Develop & localize group product & service proposition for Business Working Capital, including documentations
  • Collaborate with group and internal stakeholders to deliver the objectives and make effective use of Business Clients Contact Centre
  • Work collaboratively to resolve issues across business/functions in ways that maximize performance for Business Clients overall
  • Design, plan, implement, execute and monitor effectiveness of client events as well as campaigns/initiatives/seminars to drive GB business and enhance Brand image
  • Define marketing strategy and relationship building for Centre of Influence (introducers, referral channels, medias, Brand & Marketing, vendors, associations and business partners for business banking clients
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues across business/functions in ways that maximize performance for business banking clients overall
  • Maintain, monitor and control the FI client list under Business Banking and prepare monthly reports to the Senior Management for Group Reporting and ensure due diligence for audit purpose

 

Requirements:

  • Degree or above with major in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance or related discipline
  • Requires exceptional business knowledge, general management and leadership capability to lead business or functional teams.
  • Requires technical and operational capability to define and/or oversee program design in broad area of responsibility.
  • Applies extensive business and industry expertise and provides organizational thought leadership.
  • Proven track record and sound knowledge in business development, customer segmentation, brand management and marketing program development within commercial banking space.
