POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Head of HR & Administration, you will be in a corporate position to head up HR teams in our manufacturing sites in Guangdong region. The duties include a wide spectrum of human resources and administration functions, including but not limited to compensation and benefits management, talent development and deployment, recruitment and selection, and other ad hoc projects in the PRC.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with employment-related laws and regulations.
  2. Provide leadership in effective conflict resolution for all personnel.
  3. Analyze benefits options and cost alternatives for providing employee benefits, recommend benefits program modifications and implement approved benefits modifications.
  4. Work with senior management to craft consistent, equitable and competitive compensation and incentives.
  5. Develop and implement human resources programs and policies and periodically update Handbooks.
  6. Serve as a resource for team leaders in handling employee issues and assist them in counseling employees, conducting evaluations, staff training, problem-solving and consensus-building.
  7. Serve as a resource for all team members by being available and accessible to discuss all human resources related issues.
  8. Oversee the Organizational Development & Training function and develop employee training programs.
  9. Maintain inter- and intradepartmental work flow by providing information to and cooperating with co-workers.
  10. Assist in hiring by providing job descriptions and advertisements, and in the case of hiring of senior team leaders, by screening and interviewing candidates.
  11. Oversee handling of employment-related inquiries, such as employment verification requests and unemployment compensation inquiries and proceedings.
  12. Chair/serve on various committees, as well as outside human resources or industry-related groups.
  13. Develop, implement and participate in employee recognition programs.
  14. Enhance job performance by applying up-to-date professional and technical knowledge gained by attending seminars and conferences and reviewing professional publications.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Degree holder in HR Management or related discipline,
  2. Solid HR & administration experience in manufacturing environment in the PRC, plus corporate level exposure is preferred
  3. Well-versed of HR related laws in the PRC
  4. Good understanding of local culture. Able to manage and deal with all levels for project accomplishment
  5. Self-starter, dynamic, people-oriented and pro-active
  6. A change agent and willing to work under pressure
  7. Good command of spoken & written English, Chinese & Putonghua
  8. Need to station in PRC
  9. Less experience candidates will be considered as Assistant Manager
