Responsibilities

  • Recruitment, payroll, administration of C&B policies, MPF and taxation, reward and recognition, performance evaluation, employee’s compensation, employee relations and communication, retention strategies, HR information maintenance, HR policies and procedures, and training and development
  • Review and update all HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook to ensure they are aligned with company’s current & future business strategies and in compliance with local laws & regulations, as well as adopting the best HR practices
  • Perform manpower planning and organization development initiatives, review job grading system, and establish salary structure
  • Review compensation and benefits packages and bonus schemes from time to time and benchmark with market trend to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
  • Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Executive Chef to create training materials and conduct product knowledge and menu training, service training and orientation
  • Monitor performance management, develop reward programs to reinforce corporate values, recognize and motivate employees, minimize employee turnover, and develop employee retention strategies
  • Provide advice and counseling to restaurant managers, chefs and employees on staff related matters
  • Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts
  • Administer HR services for secondees working in and from the Group's overseas sister companies
  • Handle other ad hoc HR projects and administrative support

Qualifications

  • Degree holder in Human Resources, Business, or other related disciplines
  • Over 6 years’ experience in related field, including at least 3 years in managerial position
  • Well versed in HKSAR Employment Ordinance and other related legislation and practice
  • Good team player and approachable with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to effectively communicate to staff, managers and owners
  • Proactive, well-organized, attentive to details, multi-skilled, work independently and efficiently
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese is essential
  • Proficient in MS office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
