Information Officer (User Services) (2 vacancies)
Information Technology Services Centre
(Post Ref.: 21/240)

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of IT professionals in User Services
  • Support daily helpdesk operations, handle hotline calls and perform on-site technical support both on main campus and education centre in Mei Foo
  • Provide classroom support, including PC and AV facilities for online and hybrid teaching
  • Prepare PC imaging and cloning for staff and computer labs
  • Assist in the annual PC and printer replacement exercise
  • Work in shifts or irregular hours is required
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
     

Requirements

  • A recognised degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant hands-on experience in desktop and end user support
  • Expertise in supporting and configuring end-user applications in client-side
  • Practical skills in disk cloning and backup tools and Microsoft SCCM, etc.
  • Solid experience in supporting Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and mobile devices
  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft Active Directory, disk imaging and desktop / application virtualization
  • A good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua

Candidates with less / more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.


Salary and Fringe Benefits

The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
