We are looking for a dynamic IT Manager who will assist us in the provision of information technology functions for the FRC and who is a self starter. We will provide the candidate with an opportunity to develop our IT support from supporting our current operational needs to supporting and significantly enhanced range of responsibilities. 

Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for sourcing cost effective IT infrastructure and providing ongoing maintenance and support
  • To provide technical support for project implementation and system enhancement
  • To review, develop and implement data backup policy, network security and IT disaster contingency plan
  • To plan and source database applications for case management
  • To plan and schedule IT operations job including backup, patch management, antivirus update, system monitoring etc and provide desktop support/advice to users
  • To manage external vendors/outsourcing companies, if necessary, to provide effective and value based solutions to develop and implement general IT usage policy 

 Requirements 

  • A recognised university degree in any discipline 
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in managing IT infrastructure and service delivery
  • Familiar with Active Directory, Group Policy, Outlook Exchange, Symantec Backup Exec, Symantec Endpoint Protection and Firewall policies
  • Database Application development experience
  • Sound knowledge on Storage, IT Security, LAN/WAN and System Management technology
  • Able to work independently and has good problem solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English and Chinese
