Job Summary
Perform the daily IT supporting jobs by providing the IT helpdesk and technical support to all users of the Company.
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily IT operations of supportive business including investment banking, brokerage and back office functions;
  • Perform periodical systems and users data backup, and attend to all trouble-shooting requests so as to ensure the IT systems operate in a smooth manner; Act as the primary contact person of the helpdesk function by providing technical support to all system end users;
  • Install all the necessary hardware, systems and applications software, fixes and patches;
  • Manage and administer all the IT equipment under the PC LAN environment;
  • Provide first line support for all vendor application support;
  • Provide quality customer service to end-users in accordance with company policy and standard;
  • Provide first level service desk support and handle hotline enquires in a professional manner; Liaise with internal departments and vendors for the maintenance of hardware and service for end-users; Follow up ad-hoc projects
 
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Studies or related Engineering discipline;
  • Fresh graduate will be considered;
  • On job training will be provided;
  • Holders of Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or other Microsoft certified qualifications are preferred Experience in Banking / Securities industry is preferred but not a must;
  • Good knowledge of Windows desktop / Server and Linux operating systems;
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking, Cisco router and switch technologies is a bonus;
  • Basic Knowledgeable and skilled in software, hardware, LAN, Network installation, configuration and maintenance Well-organized with ability to multitask Good analytical and problem-solving skills are essential Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
