Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for growth and retention of medium (strategic), large or global accounts with multiple service lines and modes
  • Identifies new opportunities within their portfolio/mode/service line, generates demand, and sells creative solutions/services to drive growth through relationship building, problem solving, and providing exceptional service
  • Responsible for driving continuous improvement and articulating customer value to support customer's supply chain across multiple office and geographies or for the service line they present
  • Strong focus on:

- Strategy & Growth - penetrates the account by making contacts and building relationships; conducts regular business reviews, leveraging internal data and market intelligence

- Customer Service - serves as the primary point of contact; deliver position experience proactively; timely responses ensuring quality execution against expectations; understand clearly customers' habits and needs

- Pricing Strategy - leads RFP opportunities

  • Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned

  

Requirements:

  • Degree holder, major in logistics or supply chain management preferred
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in freight forwarding industry with at least 2 years managerial experience
  • Sales/Account Management experience is preferred
  • Demonstrate strong influencing, negotiation, collaboration, analytic, communication and presentation skills
  • Frequent travelling is required
  • Competent in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Chinese word processing
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
