We are seeking to employ a Lead Engineer (E&M) in our Engineering Team to support all engineering activities of the Company.

The Lead Engineer is a supervisory role, supervising a team of engineering technicians. It is a career path to the management level within the organization. This position is suitable for a highly motivated individual, who has the aspiration to develop long term career in the field of engineering and maintenance.  

Duties :

  • Undertake electrical and mechanical engineering tasks
  • Work with external vendors in connection with engineering assignments
  • Ensure the plant premises are well maintained
  • Lead analytical and design activities for the plants
  • Resolve engineering issues using the latest and proven technologies and approaches
  • Review tenders for engineering projects
  • Lead a team of technicians to perform installation, maintenance and repairing works
  • Undertake any tasks as assigned

What you will need for this role

The successful candidate will possess the following key skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
  • At least 6 years’ relevant working experience, of which 1-3 years in facilities management, preferably with supervisory experience
  • Good knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrate comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles within the engineering function
  • Self-motivated, strong problem-solving capability with good sense of critical thinking and analytical mind
  • Pleasant and outgoing personality with strong sense of responsibility
  • Good presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • A good team player
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
