Department of Social Work
Applicants should (i) have a doctoral degree or a Master’s degree in social work or a Bachelor’s degree in social work plus a Master’s degree in the related field; (ii) have at least four years’ post-Master full-time work experience; (iii) be registered social workers; (iv) have professional expertise in the social work field; and (v) have at least five years’ social work practice experience in one or more of the following areas: macro social work practice, social policy, social welfare administration and community development.
Duties include (a) teaching; and (b) supervision and co-ordination of students’ fieldwork in social service agencies. The appointee will work both during the day and in the evening.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to two years commencing August 2021, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
