The HKIC is looking for a highly talented individual to fill the position of:
Lecturer - Conservation of Built Heritage (Part-time)

The applicant must possess

  1. a recognised degree in architecture / conservation or other construction-related discipline; corporate membership of an appropriate professional institution is preferred;
  2. a minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification relevant working experience in local built heritage conservation projects; teaching experience will be a definite advantage;
  3. good presentation and communication skills; and
  4. good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

(Applicants who do not possess the required qualifications and / or experience may be considered for other positions within the organisation.)

Duties include  

  1. to conduct teaching on conservation of built heritage related subjects;
  2. to devise and implement new training course and prepare training course materials to meet the development of the industry;
  3. to assist the execution of training initiatives;
  4. to liaise with the industry on the provision of tailor-made training courses; and
  5. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.
