The HKIC is looking for a highly talented individual to fill the position of:
Lecturer (Whole Person Development) (Part-time)

The applicant must possess

  1. a recognised degree, preferably with a post-graduate qualification in social science would be an advantage; with knowledge of construction-related background is preferred;
  2. a minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in whole person development for youngsters; 
  3. good writing, presentation and communication skills; and
  4. good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

(Applicants who do not possess the required qualifications and / or experience may be considered for other positions within the organisation.)

 Duties include

  1. to undertake teaching of Whole Person Development modules and to organise relevant events; 
  2. to assist the Module Leader(s) in reviewing Whole Person Development modules;
  3. to support the implementation of Whole Person Development framework for students; 
  4. to carry out studies and to prepare plans and proposals in connection with initiatives related to the industry;
  5. to liaise with the industry and educational / training institutions for value-added student services; and
  6. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.


The position is on a time-limited fixed-term contract subject to operational needs.
