Major Responsibilities

  • provide legal advice across a broad spectrum of contracts and on corporate/project finance, property conveyance, litigation, tenancy and corporate/commercial matters
  • proactively provide legal guidance and counsel to officers/executives of the Group on corporate/regulatory/statutory compliance matters
  • review legal documents both in English and Chinese

Requirements

  • excellent academic qualifications with high quality training
  • qualified lawyer practicing in HKSAR with minimum 15 years post-qualification relevant experience, preferably gained in large professional or corporate legal environment in Hong Kong
  • MUST with intensive experience in giving advice and handling legal matters in Hong Kong property development including land acquisition and disposal, development/redevelopment, sale and purchase, property management, mortgage loan financing
  • sound knowledge of Hong Kong Property Law, Listing Rules and Company Ordinance as well as concerned statutory compliance requirements
  • good business acumen with strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • excellent drafting skill with the ability to provide accurate, practical and timely advice in English / Chinese
