Our client is a reputable Media / Entertainment company with operations around the globe.

Description

As the Regional legal & Business Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Negotiation, drafting and reviewing of deals and contracts (Licensing agreements and other commercial contracts)

  • Assisting the business teams in various contract negotiations and business transactions;

  • Providing assistance to Director of Legal and Business Affairs Asia Pacific.
  • Ancillary duties required to support and streamline legal and business affairs support in the APAC region.
  • Providing general legal support.

Profile

Successful applicant will be:

  • A Qualified lawyer
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)

  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

  • Basic drafting and contract review experience

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong attention to details and time management skills

  • Good level of legal research skills as well as skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Available to work 3 full days a week
  • Exposure in the Media / Entertainment, Telecommunication or Technology industries would definitely be beneficial
