This role is a great opportunity for a seasoned qualified lawyer with extensive compliance experience to join a team of 10 staff and lead junior members of the team.

Client Details

Our client is a leading global financial institution with a range of services offered, they span over 30 countries and have services spread across asset management and insurance.

Description

This person will be responsible for liaisons with relevant regulatory bodies in relation to operations and the Group's intermediaries. They will be required to review and revise internal policies that pertain to the Group's products, with any updates imposed by regulatory bodies. Effective communication with regulatory authorities and additional business units is a must as well as monitoring various risks with provision of practice legal / compliance advice to internal teams.

Profile

The candidate should have a minimum of 4 PQE with strong regulatory and investigations exposure, ideally some in-house experience gained in the legal or compliance field. They must have experience in dealing with regulatory matters and misconduct relating to financial institutions with knowledge of laws applicable to the financial field. Additionally, the person will need to have fluent English and Chinese ability.
