Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Legal Director of Hong Kong, Macau and China
  • Manage company secretarial duties for business units in Hong Kong, Macau and China
  • Assist the Legal Director in legal case management and oversight
  • Assist in the implementation of legal and compliance policies
  • Sales and service contracts, leases, service/vendor contracts reviews and approvals
  • Provide assistance and input to commercial and government tender submissions and queries
  • Assist in the review of Bank Facility documents, review and approval
  • Liaise and coordinate with external legal counsels and manage legal costs
  • Assist to drive and implement numerous compliance, international trade compliance, antitrust, anti-corruption and internal enterprise risk management (ERM) programs and initiatives
  • Assist to provide support in internal investigations
  • Conduct legal researches independently

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree of Law or equivalent
  • 3–5 years’ working experience in the legal field, in-house and/or construction field experience preferred
  • Sound legal knowledge of the Hong Kong laws
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua will be an advantage
  • Proficient in computer applications including MS Power Point, Excel and Chinese word processing
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently
  • High ethical values
