Job Purpose: 

“To assist the Logistics Manager to handle shipments, import & export declaration, delivery order management system, preparing reports, bulletin, logistics enquiry for the group, and other ad hoc logistics project to improve the efficiency & process.”

 

Key Accountabilities:

In addition to following Lane Crawford’s policies and procedures, key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Purchase Order Revision & Shipment Follow up

  • Communicate and verify the PO information are corrected & fully completed with CBO members
  • Communicate and confirm with appointed freight forwarder for shipment arrangement.
  • Arrange & follow up non-merchandise shipments for all departments in LC HK + China and PG HK, China & Overseas.
  • Estimate the shipping cost for different country and different mode of shipping
  • Co-ordinate the Material Composition, Country of Origin, etc., between China Warehouse, CBO and vendors for preparing shipments and “Pass Certificate” if required
  • Check & Verify Forwarders’ debit note.
  • Negotiate with forwarder of shipping cost for new routes

 

Reports

  • Prepare weekly/monthly routine reports
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as required
  • Prepare reports for Letter of Credit for HK
  • Representing the Logistics Department to attend & follow up Meetings

 

Facilitate Logistics & Warehouse Operation

  • Review the receiving problems summary weekly
  • Facilitate and chase CBO to solve the outstanding receiving problem
  • Facilitate the warehouse team on shipping documents issued probably and place booking to freight forwarder
  • Review if any special license & documents is required for shipment
  • Issue bulletin for (LC HK & China + Lab Concept + Facesss + PG HK, China & Overseas)

 

Special Projects & Events

  • Follow up ad hoc projects & events as assigned by Manager
  • Attend meeting and follow up Logistics related issues with other departments in the Group
  • Prepare & issue reports
  • Follow up inquiries from all concerned departments
  • Assist Logistics Manager on Project WeCan & other assigned group activities programs

 

Letter Of Credit Application

  • Follow up with CBO, Vendors, Finance Department and Banks for Letter Of Credit Application and Amendment.
  • Prepare monthly L/C reports to Finance Department for the status of L/C application and expiry dates.
  • Follow up CBO for proper approval PO for Letter of Credit Application process
