The Role:

The Analyst will support the transactional insurance team, including representations and warranties insurance, tax liability insurance and contingent liability insurance. Among other things, the Analyst will

  • Assisting in the preparation of presentation materials, conceptual papers and data points and other collateral for general business development use as well as deal specific use
  • Lead in project management including analysing deal statistics and data
  • Assist in the review, and arrange the execution, of non-disclosure agreements, brokerage agreements, and other similar legal documents
  • Assist in the preparation of discussion papers, quotation reports, and W&I insurance policies
  • Raise awareness/ cross-selling of TL products through education of other Aon colleagues, existing Aon clients and the M&A deal community in general, including assisting in contributing to articles to M&A and insurance-related publications

Our Requirements:

  • Degree Holder, university graduate in law, economics, finance, accounting a plus
  • Ideally possess corporate M&A experience from law firms/ professional services industry
  • Specific experience with M&A, insurance sector or other financial institutions a strong plus
  • Possess strong legal drafting skills, including ability to analyse transaction documents and financial statements
  • Excellent English language skills (written and verbal) for internal and external communication with clients, markets and Aon colleagues across various levels (written and spoken Mandarin in addition a strong plus)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaboratively work on a global basis
  • Adept at prioritising workload, multi-tasking, meticulous, Microsoft office applications
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
  • Basic understanding of how M&A deals are conducted
  • Can be based in Singapore or Hong Kong
  • Will be exposed to transactions across the Asian region
