Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA) is an industry association whose mission is to foster the growth and development of the private wealth management industry in Hong Kong.

The successful candidate is a key member of the Private Wealth Management Association team who will be responsible primarily for supporting work related to the Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) [see below], the Certified Private Wealth Professional programme (CPWP) as well as Certified Private Wealth Professional Associate programme (CPWPA). We are looking for an efficient and organized administrator with an eye for detail and also an experienced and empathetic communicator who liaises frequently and effectively with front-line finance professionals and HR managers. The right candidate will also participate and help with other aspects of the PWMA’s tasks, and may be asked to help run committees or organize events as part of the PWMA’s broader mandate.

The ECF sets out an enhanced level of competency expected of Relevant Practitioners in the Private Wealth Management industry. Relevant Practitioners have to meet the work experience prerequisite and examination requirements under the ECF before applying for the CPWP/CPWPA certification. Certified Practitioners are required to apply for the certification renewal on an annual basis.

Key Job Responsibilities: 

  • Review online applications under ECF from Relevant Practitioners
  • Organize and assist in the committee meetings for ECF topics and assessment of online applications under ECF
  • Participate in the enhancement of online system and database for applicants and applications under ECF
  • Provide solutions and handle inquiries from applicants in relation to application process and guidelines under ECF
  • Provide guidance to applicants in relation to the online application processes
  • Update, maintain, and ensure accuracy of relevant information in the database system
  • Support Senior Manager on other tasks and projects
  • Coordinate and support PWMA meetings, events, seminars, and networking activities as required
  • Provide general support and cover for team members

 

Competence requirements: 

  • University graduate or above
  • 3-5 years of working experience in financial services industry with experience working in client- facing department preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English and Cantonese. Good Putonghua is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including good Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with database management and online platforms
  • Pleasant personality, self-motivated, mature and independent
  • Well organized and attentive to detail
