The Manager, Brand Marketing drives our marketing and PR efforts forward in the APAC region, focusing on adding value to our operations in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Seoul. As a Brand Marketing team, we’re all about making a single client (Jack Morton) become the best-known brand in our space (brand experience). The manager is responsible for shaping and executing initiatives and processes necessary to achieve our team priorities: building a strong agency brand, effectively promoting the agency, connecting Jack Morton with clients to grow revenues and pushing the agency to be brave. S/he reports to the VP, Brand Marketing (New York) with a dotted line report to the Managing Director in the office in which s/he sits. S/he works closely with the VP, Public Relations (London) and Brand Marketing Manager (New York). A strong ability to take initiative and work autonomously towards objectives and deliverables is required.

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

Brand Marketing

• Contributing to the meeting of our global Brand Marketing objectives by shaping them in APAC to elevate and add value to our reputation in the region

• Working with VP, Brand Marketing and team to establish the marketing plan for APAC and executing it across our channels: website and intranet, social media, external communications, content, industry awards, thought leadership, CRM, and internal brand communications

• Identifying key awards for our offices to enter across the region, and managing the entry process and coordinating winning assets and case studies

• Coordinating and updating a suite of brand assets across the region, including onboarding brand materials, printed brochureware, and merchandising

 

Public Relations

• Creating and executing a PR plan for APAC, which supports the global Brand Marketing objectives

• Identifying and securing opportunities through both the media and speaking engagements for our APAC leadership and senior team members

• Writing all APAC PR copy including press releases, press-run agency competition entries and submissions for speaker opportunities

• Working closely with Jack’s key spokespeople to ideate, develop and draft comments for press, thought leadership bylined articles and speaker presentations

• Fully understanding our agency, people and work and proactively spotting and developing stories which speak to our key messages

 

Project Management & Knowledge:

• Sharing progress and status on efforts and driving forward deliverables

• Adding to continuous process optimization, measuring impact, discovering efficiencies and making recommendations

• Staying on top of trends in marketing and culture and sharing relevant ideas and recommendations with our team

• Being an ambassador for the agency’s brand, inspiring commitment, loyalty, pride, and spirit in the organization, making Jack Morton a great place to work

• Supporting as a source of brand information and advice on RFIs, case studies, and credentials materials

 

Requirements

• An outstanding relationship builder with great people skills

• Demonstrated experience in managing programs and processes

• Ability to work autonomously towards established objectives and deliverables

• 4–6 years marketing/PR experience, in an agency setting

• Intimate knowledge of the marketing agency landscape in APAC and established press contacts at key media outlets

• College degree in marketing, communications, advertising, PR, or a related field

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills

• Proactive, confident, organized person with the ability and desire to help motivate and steer the Brand Marketing team’s efforts

• Flexible and solution-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and a collaborative, can-do attitude
