Responsibilities:

  • Develop global publicity plan for mega events / promotional platform and coordinate with relevant teams within the organization on execution of the publicity programmes
  • Plan and monitor the implementation of different kinds of local publicity programmes from pre-event to post event publicity, promotion and outreaching to media in Hong Kong. Lead a team to generate impactful publicity value
  • Develop compelling news angles and key messages for external communications, maintain day-to-day communications and relationship with local media
  • Prepare press materials including press releases, Q&As, factsheets, etc and handle media enquiries
  • Plan and work closely with media partners / suppliers to implement publicity programmes for complementing the broadcast of regional TV production Work closely with media partners / suppliers to produce TV programmes for regional broadcast
  • Take part in issue preparedness and crisis management for mega events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above in related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant working experience in Public Relations / Corporate Communications / Media
  • Proven track record in handling mega scale publicity campaign and PR events
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, good media relationship and network
  • Possesses high level of organisational and analytical abilities
  • A team player with excellent attitude, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese
