Roles & responsibilities:

  • Lead a fund-raising team to develop new fund-raising ideas and explore different channels and sources for raising funds;
  • organize innovative and large scale fund-raising events, coordinate with different business partners, respond effectively and promptly to ad-hoc fund-raising events/needs;
  • develop customized donation package and prepare proposals to target/potential/corporate donors;
  • design and implement mailing campaigns;
  • develop ideas and strategies for enhancing public awareness and interest in participating in different fund-raising events/activities;
  • liaise and develop close working relationship with PR agencies, press and media, artist and celebrities;
  • cultivate partnership opportunities and extend networking with corporate partners in organizing events for raising funds/publicity; and
  • establish a close working relationship with existing donors and explore/develop networking with other potential donors.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • a recognized degree or equivalent, preferably with an advanced degree;
  • at least 6 years’ post qualification experience in administration and agencies, preferably with knowledge in fund-raising event management and public relations; and
  • proficiency in English and Chinese including Putonghua.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
