Responsibilities

  • Manage daily scheme and fund accounting tasks in accordance with prevailing procedures and turnaround times and ensure adequate controls are in place
  • Review / authorize investment orders, fund transfer instruction, payment requisition and payment cheques
  • Review reconciliations and ensure proper follow up actions on reconciling items
  • Responsible for the proper accounting of assigned MPF / ORSO schemes
  • Accountable for all system enhancement projects related to finance functions
  • Assist in planning and budgeting exercise and perform on-going review on actual results against budget
  • Handle corporate accounting matters including monthly accrual schedule and profit sharing calculation

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Finance / Accounting or related disciplines.
  • Certified Accountant or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years working experiences in Finance / Accounting field with at least 2 years experiences in managerial role
  • Good knowledge of accounting & customer services principles and practices in retirement scheme industry
  • Strong PC skills in Excel, Access and Word
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, presentation and communication skills
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
