Client Description

Our client is a reputable company group with worldwide offices, they are currently seeking a competent IT Manager to supervise their overall IT infrastructure and IT services delivery including IT end-user support, operations and management services for computer room facilities, server and storage equipment, network and telecommunication links, private/public/hybrid cloud and mobility. The jobholder will manage IT outsourced vendor / helpdesk team and negotiate with service providers to obtain optimal service. He/she will plan and lead continuous upgrade of end-user hardware and software, as well as maintain effective communications with applications teams and business teams.

Job Description

Requirements:

  • University degree in computer science or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in IT industry at big corporations, of whichat least 4 years in a team leadership role in infrastructure and end-user service delivery.
  • Sound knowledge in IT Service Management (ITIL) and Information Security (CISSP), related certifications preferred
  • Solid experience in IT infrastructure and service management and delivery of outsourced end-user support team, desktop technology (Windows, Mac, MS Office 365, end-user data backup and protection), server (Linux & Windows), storage, network, firewall, computer room facilities, cloud migration and management (Azure, AWS), information security, mobile device management, etc.
  • Strong continuous improvement mindset, able to drive and deliver changes to add-value to the business
  • Effective vendor management and contract negotiation skills
  • Good team player with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
